Xinguo YU is currently the Assistant Research Fellow/ Assistant Professor at Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. He obtained Ph.D. degree in Economics from Peking University in China. His research interests lie in the area of development, region, labor and the interface between social science and data science. He also explores the methodology required to investigate those areas, primarily online survey and machine learning with some large-scale novel micro databases.
