Ngoc Thao Nguyen LE

Ngoc Thao Nguyen LE holds a PhD. in Politics and History from the University of Nottingham Ningbo China. Her thesis examines how Vietnam, as a resilient socialist regime and an emerging economic power, has implemented its public diplomacy in the contemporary era, providing one of the first in-depth studies of the domestic making of Vietnam’s public diplomacy strategy. Her research interests also cover soft power in East Asian and Southeast Asian countries, and Mekong River security.
