Marta Pagnini is an ESRC-funded PhD fellow at the Department of Sociology of the London School of Economics and Political Science. She specializes in computational historical sociology, focusing on the symbolic power of the British monarchy between the nineteenth and mid-twentieth centuries. Her research employs methods such as text mining for historical data, spatial analysis, and social network analysis. Marta completed an MSc in Sociology at the LSE in 2020 and holds BAs in Sociology from the University of Paris IV Sorbonne and in Political Science from the University of Pisa.
