Karina Assis is a professor of Organizational Studies in the Department of Production Engineering at the Federal University of São Carlos. She has expertise in Economic, Organizational, and Labor Sociology, focusing on topics such as changes in the workplace, Gender and Diversity in organizations, as well as Gender, Wealth/Elite, and Inequalities. In addition to teaching, Karina Assis coordinates the Committee for Economic Sociology Research at the Brazilian Sociological Society (SBS), contributing to research advancement in this field.
