Joselle Dagnes is associate professor in economic sociology at the University of Torino, Italy, where she teaches Sociology of Markets. Her research interests focus on the transformation of the economy and the financialization of society, with a particular interest in corporate governance and the role of the economic and financial elites. She studies these issues while also paying attention to the gender dimension, as in her current research project funded by the Italian Ministry of University and Research and dedicated to gender inequality in the professional upper classes (Gender segregation in specialized medical training).
