Ishan Anand is an assistant professor of economics at the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences, Indian Institute of Technology Delhi. His areas of interest are inequality, agriculture, and development. As a recipient of the World Bank Robert S McNamara fellowship, he was a visiting scholar at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Before joining IIT Delhi, he taught at Ambedkar University Delhi and O P Jindal Global University.
