Hendrik Theine is a post-doctoral researcher at the Institute for Comprehensive Analysis of the Economy (ICAE) and the Socio-Ecological Transformation Lab at the Johannes Kepler University Linz. He is currently the Interim Professor of Socio-Economics at the Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences. His research explores the intersection of political economy and communication, focusing on two areas: media discourses on the climate crisis and inequality, and power dynamics within media markets and digital capitalism. A member of the German-speaking Network for Critical Communication Science, he is also the co-editor of the book Klimasoziale Politik (Climate-social Politics).
