Fumiya UCHIKOSHI

Fumiya Uchikoshi is an Academy Scholar at the Harvard Academy for International and Area Studies, housed at the Weatherhead Center for International Affairs at Harvard University. He received his B.A. from the University of Tokyo and his M.A. and Ph.D. in Sociology from Princeton University with a graduate certificate in Demography. His ongoing projects include 1) causes and consequences of low fertility in East Asia, 2) gender inequality in higher education and the labor market, and 3) family formation among Asian Americans. His work has been published in Demography, Demographic Research, Research in Higher Education, and Research in Social Stratification and Mobility, among other outlets.
