Asif Butt is a PhD researcher at the Department of Sociology and the International Inequalities Institute at the London School of Economics. He works on social class, social mobility, and elites. His PhD project explores social mobility into elite occupations and micro-class reproduction in Germany. The project is funded by the German Academic Scholarship Foundation.
