Abdellatif ZEROUAL is a Maître de conférences habilité at National School of Architecture of Fez (ÉNA). The subject of his doctoral thesis in sociology was the moroccan haut patronat. He conducted a prosopographical analysis of nearly 150 moroccan grands patrons. Some of the results of his doctoral thesis have been published. His research themes are the political economy of moroccan capitalism, state and social classes in Morocco. He is member of the advisory board of Africa Focus and the editorial board of La Revue marocaine des sciences Politiques et sociales.
